Flexible Email Support Plans for Growing Businesses

Mailoza is bought four ways: one-time projects with a fixed outcome, monthly managed support that keeps it fixed, rapid emergency support when email is down, and custom infrastructure work scoped to your environment. We price on outcome and expertise — never per mailbox — and frame every quote against the cost of the problem it prevents.

How we price

Why we quote, instead of publishing a per-mailbox price.

Email is your most business-critical system and your most neglected one. A real number depends on your environment, not on how many mailboxes you have. So we look at what actually drives the work — then frame the price against the cost of a single outage or a single business email compromise incident, which averages around $120,000.

  • Number of mailboxes

A guide to scale, not a per-unit price. More mailboxes means more to migrate, secure and watch — but the value is in the expertise, not the seat count.

  • Platform

Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or self-hosted (Mailcow, Stalwart, Linux) each carry different work to configure, harden and operate well.

  • Urgency

A planned project and an active outage are not the same job. Emergency work is scoped and priced for the speed it demands.

  • Migration complexity

Mailbox count, calendars, shared resources, third-party senders and legacy quirks all shape how much careful, staged work a safe move takes.

  • Monitoring needs

How much you want watched — mail flow, queues, reputation, authentication, certificates — and how proactively, shapes the managed scope.

  • Security requirements

Hardening, anti-impersonation defences and regulated-sector obligations (Law, Accounting, Healthcare) add depth that a generic setup never needs.

The fastest way to a real number is a free Email Audit. It shows exactly where your risks are and what fixing them takes — before you commit anything.

Managed support plans

Information:

Honest about 24×7

Monitoring is always-on and automated on every plan. Human emergency response is a defined, plan-based commitment — so you always know the window you can count on. We publish the actual response targets in your agreement, and we will not promise unbounded round-the-clock support we cannot guarantee.

Which is right for you

Managed plan, one-time project — or both.

Most businesses start with a project to fix the acute problem, then move to a managed plan to keep it fixed. Here is how to tell which you need now.

One-time project

Choose a project when…

  • You have a specific, defined problem — a migration, a deliverability rescue, a security hardening.
  • You want a fixed outcome delivered once, with a clear scope and a quote up front.
  • You are not yet sure you need ongoing support, and want to see the work before you commit.
  • You are building a new foundation — an architecture or infrastructure build done correctly.

Fixed scope · delivered once · quoted per project

The most common path is hybrid: a project is the front door, a managed plan is the home. We will recommend the right starting point for you — not the most expensive one.

Add-ons

Deepen any plan with the extras your business needs.

Add-ons layer onto a managed plan to match your risk and your sector. Each is quoted with your plan — pick what fits, skip what does not.

24×7 monitoring

Always-on, automated watching of mail flow, queues, reputation, authentication and certificate expiry — the failure modes that are invisible until they are catastrophic.

Advanced deliverability

Continuous reputation and authentication watch, blacklist defence and sender-discipline guidance — so your mail keeps landing in the inbox.

DMARC reporting

Aggregate-report monitoring at enforcement, so spoofing of your domain is caught and your legitimate senders never quietly break.

Backup verification

Regular checks that your email backups exist, are complete, and can actually be restored — not just assumed to be working.

Monthly executive report

A board-ready, plain-English view of email health, risk and value — what we watched, what we caught, and what we fixed.

Emergency response retainer

Reserved, priority emergency capacity with a defined response window, so a specialist is ready the moment email goes down.

Pricing questions

Honest answers about pricing.

Why do you not publish exact prices?

Because a real number depends on your environment, not on a mailbox count. The honest price for a migration, a security hardening or a managed plan varies with your platform, complexity, urgency and risk. Publishing a per-mailbox grid would recategorise us as commodity hosting and invite a comparison that has nothing to do with the value of the work. Instead we show the structure — anchors, named tiers and "request a quote" — and give you a precise number after a short conversation.

What actually affects the price?

Six things, mainly: the number of mailboxes (as a guide to scale, not a per-unit rate), your platform (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or self-hosted), urgency, migration complexity, how much monitoring you want, and your security and compliance requirements. We frame the result against the cost of the problem it prevents — a single outage or business email compromise incident averages around $120,000.

What is the difference between a managed plan and a one-time project?

A one-time project is scoped work with a fixed outcome, delivered once and quoted per project — a migration, a deliverability rescue, a security hardening. A managed plan is a predictable monthly commitment where we own your email on an ongoing basis: continuous monitoring, proactive maintenance, a defined response and a monthly health report. Most businesses use both: a project to fix it, a managed plan to keep it fixed.

Can I start with just an audit?

Yes — that is usually the best place to start. The free Email Audit assesses your deliverability, authentication, security and reputation and gives you a prioritised, plain-English report. You see exactly where your risks are, and what fixing them takes, before you commit anything. There is no obligation.

What do the "From", "Custom" and "Request quote" labels mean?

"From" is a starting point for scoped, well-understood work — your final number depends on your specifics. "Custom" means the work is bespoke enough that a tailored quote after discovery is the honest way to price it. "Request quote" applies to work whose scope is only clear after we look — like an emergency, where we price the incident once it is triaged. None of these are hidden prices; they are an honest reflection of how each kind of work is scoped.

How do you price emergency support?

Emergency work is scoped at intake, because the size of the job is not knowable until we triage it. We classify the severity, contain and restore, and price the incident accordingly. Managed-plan customers get the strongest committed response windows, and our Premium plan includes emergency response. What we never do is flaunt an unbounded "instant 24/7" rate we cannot honour for everyone.

Do you charge per mailbox?

No. We price on outcome and expertise, never per mailbox. Mailbox count is a guide to scale — more mailboxes means more to migrate, secure and watch — but the value is in the specialist work, not the seat count. A per-mailbox grid is exactly the commodity framing we refuse.

Is there a long-term contract or lock-in?

No long lock-in. Managed plans run on clear, fair terms. The relationship should continue because the value is obvious in your monthly report — not because you are trapped in a contract.

Will you work alongside our existing IT or provider?

Yes. We work alongside your existing IT or host — you do not have to rip anything out. We own the email outcome and coordinate with your other vendors, so you stop being bounced between them.

Can a project turn into a managed plan later?

Yes, and that is the most common path. A migration creates a clean, secured environment that is easy to monitor; a hardening leaves a posture worth protecting. When the project ends, moving to a managed plan keeps it fixed — but it is entirely your choice, and there is no pressure to graduate.

How do I get an actual number?

Request a pricing consultation, or start with the free Email Audit. We will understand your environment, recommend the right starting point, and give you a clear, predictable quote framed against the cost of the problem — with no surprise invoices.

Does the price include the monthly health report?

Yes. Every managed tier includes the monthly plain-English health report — the recurring proof that your email is working, what we caught, and what we fixed. It is part of the plan, never an extra.

Not sure which plan fits your email environment?

Tell us how your business runs on email and we will recommend the right starting point — a project, a managed plan, or both — with a clear, predictable quote. Or start with a free Email Audit, no obligation.
